This procedure is ideal to be done around the area of the brow around the eyes and temple for pulling up the skin for a more refreshed look.
To minimize visibility of scarring after the procedure, incisions that are quite large are being placed inside the hairline. Full Brow Lift normally uses general anesthesia and the patient can recover between 2 and 4 weeks. This surgery is being performed by lifting and smoothing the upper portion of the skin’s face and adjustment of underlying skin structure which produces natural look.

A patient should be healthy, has a resilient skin and good healing capacity to be able to get qualified with Brow Lift treatment.
How to Achieve Less Invasive Brow Lift
A patient can either have an anti wrinkle injections or dermal filler treatment.
Muscles around the eyes can create an overall lift in the eyebrows if a patient opted to have anti wrinkle injections. Orbicularis oculi, or muscles around the eyes, hold the eyebrows down. The eyebrows will be released from being pulled down and frontalis muscle or muscle in the forehead are left to make eyebrows lifted.
By having dermal filler injected underneath the eyebrows, the area can receive support and pull the eyebrows up. A patient usually needs 1 ml in this area. Fillers also help with more youthful and softer appearance by softening orbital rim around the eyes.
Dermal fillers can also help with sagging eyelids in the middle half of the upper eyelid. The appearance of the upper eyelid will be balanced and drooping eyelids by filling in dermal fillers in the area.
Patient should expect swelling and bruising after any of the procedure mentioned. The level and duration depend on the complexity of the procedure and the size of incisions. The cosmetic doctor can suggest medications to help the patient feel comfortable during the first few days after the surgery. The patient can also put ice packs for more relief.
We would like to post a reminder that any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. A patient should have an initial consultation first with the cosmetic doctor to be assessed and to discuss the entire treatment.
